Writer/Journalist Programme at The Borgen Project. The organisation works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine and poverty, and advocates for poverty reduction in U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? The Borgen Project is an international organisation focused on content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog. This is a part-time, 12 hours per week, 12-week, unpaid remote programme. If availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks.
Responsibilities
* Content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog.
* Researching topics relevant to advocacy and fundraising.
* Assisting with The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts.
* Assisting with fundraising and creating a personal fundraising campaign to meet targets.
Qualifications
Experience: No prior experience is necessary; we’re looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of GPA or background.
Details
This is an unpaid programme, although college credit is available.
Start Date: New programmes begin every month; you choose the month you wish to start.
