About the role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Carpentry lecturer to join our team. You will be teaching students of varying abilities – from Level 1 to Level 3 – and working closely with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department. With your valuable industry experience you will help inspire the next generation of skilled experts and support people from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions.

The Role
You will deliver high-quality instruction to Level 1–3 students, create engaging lesson plans, and support students’ progress. You will collaborate with the department to promote the courses across the Construction curriculum area, participate in marketing events and share your experiences as a carpenter.
Skills and Experience
 * Proven teaching experience and/or relevant industry experience.
 * Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
 * Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
 * Excellent communication skills – able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups in an engaging way.
 * Efficient administration skills to support good student record‑keeping.
