About The Role
As a graduate trainee you will undertake a three-year training contract with progression through the following years:
Year 1
* Master the art of auditing, including preparing audit documents with the latest software and methodologies.
* Financial statements: Understand balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
* Work with clients: Engage with diverse companies to understand operations, challenges, and circumstances.
* Build relationships: Develop strong professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
Years 2 and 3
* Take on increasingly complex audit work (e.g., revenue recognition, valuation, risk assessments).
* Lead audit engagements and mentor junior team members.
* Pursue a permanent role; the three years are the start of your career at Forvis Mazars.
Who we\'re looking for
* On track to graduate or have an undergraduate degree (academic performance is important; we consider the whole candidate).
* Curious, eager to learn, and capable of critical thinking and problem solving.
* Commitment to self-development and learning; strong sense of ownership and accountability.
* Ability to work well under pressure with a positive, proactive attitude.
* Excellent time management and communication skills; willingness to travel and adapt to flexible working.
