Role Overview
You will contribute to the work of the Dietetic team by performing a range of clinical duties in acute inpatient settings. These duties include direct patient contact, reviewing nutrition and dietetic plans of inpatients as delegated by the registered dietitian, and supporting the safe discharge of patients under the dietitian’s care. This may include liaising with other healthcare professionals and associated administration.
Eligibility and Visa
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
Team and Working Environment
The successful applicant will support the delivery of the nutrition and dietetic service within a well‑established dietetic team comprising 65 dietitians and dietetic assistants across a wide range of services and specialties. The post holder will work in collaboration with nurses, caterers and Speech and Language therapists to support the delivery of dietetic care to patients in a busy acute environment.
