Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive data analysis to interpret biological data sets.
* Develop and implement algorithms for data mining and machine learning applications.
* Perform statistical analyses to validate findings and ensure the accuracy of results.
* Collaborate with biologists and researchers to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
* Create visual representations of data to communicate findings effectively.
* Maintain databases and ensure the integrity of data through regular audits.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in bioinformatics tools and techniques.
Skills
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R
* Strong data skills, including experience with SQL for database management.
* Knowledge of statistical analysis methods relevant to biological research.
* Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in bioinformatics.
* Knowledge in data visualisation tools to present complex information clearly.
* Understanding of biochemistry principles as they relate to bioinformatics.
* Ability to perform data mining to extract meaningful patterns from large datasets.
* Familiarity with artificial intelligence applications within the field of bioinformatics.
* Knowlege in Data visualisation and Data Sequencing
* Primer Designing, Data mapping for biological research
