This lovely Gastro pub, situated in the quaint village commutable to Leeds & Bradford, is looking to recruit an experienced Head Chef to head up the kitchen & lead the very talented team in this modern kitchen, with an emphasis on local, seasonal foods, cooked using modern & interesting techniques.
This really is a great opportunity for a career-minded chef to really make a name for themselves, working in a very supportive environment within this stunning county Gastro pub.
Our clients are looking for applicants who can demonstrate:
1. A keen eye for detail, & a true passion for their craft
2. Experience managing a team within a fresh food led kitchen would be an advantage
3. A career-minded chef who is looking to really push on with their career
4. A chef who has a proven longevity in roles; no jumpy chefs here!
5. The type of character who can enthuse & excite junior chefs and lead the team by example, rather than the old school way; no shouty chefs please.
6. Detailed knowledge of kitchen management, costings, kitchen budgets, & experience working with seasonal produce would be a benefit.
7. Experience & understanding of the latest due diligence compliance and H&S and allergen procedures is a must for this position.
