Job Role:Senior Resettlement & Integration Support Worker

Salary:£27,810 per year

Hours:Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Contract type:Permanent

Location:Kingswood

Additional information:

* Travel across South Gloucestershire will be a requirement for this role so a valid driving license & access to your own will be essential.

The Role:

Are you passionate about making a real impact in people’s lives? We're looking for aSenior Resettlement & Integration Workerto join our dedicated team in Kingswood.

This role is within our Refugee Resettlement team and involves assisting with the management of local projects. The aim is to ensure that teams are well supported and supervised, and that performance KPI objectives, quality standards, and contractual obligations are met through effective management—reflecting the values of Julian House. You will maintain a visible and active presence within local teams. With support from the Service Manager, you will ensure that service improvements are embedded within local projects.

You will also be responsible for supporting clients to reach their maximum potential and for upholding the values of Julian House.

Responsibilities include:

* Assist the Service Manager with operational management, staff line management of local project team.
* Provide supportive line management and supervision to team members ensuring regular reviews are in place including monthly supervisions, PDRs and any other reviews as appropriate.
* Provide a small caseload of clients with high-quality person-centred services which takes a strength based and trauma informed approach.
* Carry out effective multi-agency working with external agencies to maximise opportunities for clients.

Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the post holder may be required to undertake other duties, which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities

Qualifications / Requirements:

* Proven ability to develop supportive, empowering relationships with socially excluded clients, resulting in high quality client service.
* Ability to effectively manage own and supervise direct reports workload.
* Crisis Response and Resilience:
Highly resilient and calm under pressure; capable of responding effectively to crisis situations with confidence and clarity.
* Proven experience in line management, including direct supervision of staff, performance management, delegation of tasks, and fostering a positive and productive team environment.
* Ability to travel within South Glos Area, Willingness and ability to work flexibly with very occasional evening and weekend work
