About the role
As an Asset Manager for one of our Solar clients, you will manage a portfolio of Solar Farm sites across the UK. You will take overall ownership of a portfolio of ground-mounted solar PV plants, ensuring all O&M works are carried out in accordance with the contractual scope.
What you will do:
* Customer Relations: Be the primary contact for clients, managing all queries promptly and professionally.
* Contract Management: Manage all site-related contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with all obligations.
* Operations Management: Coordinate internal and external resources to maximize production, plan O&M activities, review maintenance strategies, and conduct site visits. Serve as the primary planner for outsourced O&M activities.
* Contractor Management: Monitor contractor performance, ensure obligations are met, and define KPIs to deliver value.
* Information Management: Maintain complete and accessible historical data and documentation, and provide regular and ad-hoc reports.
* HSEQ: Implement health, safety, environment, and quality best practices, including managing RAMS, Work Orders, and Site Inductions, in compliance with UK HSE regulations and CDM requirements.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Education: Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or relevant field; significant experience may substitute formal education.
* Experience: At least 1 year of asset management experience with solar or similar technologies.
* Industry Knowledge: Understanding of solar technology, farm operations, SCADA systems, and UK HSE legislation.
* Contract Management: Proven ability to manage and enforce contracts effectively.
* Analysis: Strong attention to detail, capable of data manipulation and trend analysis.
* Communication: Customer-focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Personality: Well-organized, logical thinker, capable of managing diverse workloads and priorities.
* IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Drivers Licence: Valid license required.
* Eligibility to Work in the UK: Must have the right to work in the UK.
