Working Pattern: 30 hours per week3 working days out of 7Week 1 - Sat, Sun, and MonWeek 2 - Fri, Tue and Wed8am - 6:30pmRewards: 20 days' annual leave (pro rata)Company Pension Scheme Employee Assistance Program to support your health & wellbeing Financial Education/Financial wellbeing advisory service Company Events The Role: Prepare and cook all food to an exceptional standard, ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to.Ensure the service counter is prepped and ready for service Providing the highest level of customer service in a consistent approachWork as part of the team to ensure the service is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard Completing any administration recording of food temperatures HACCP documentationReport defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces to the Line ManagerIn the absence of the Unit Manager complete bookwork procedures in line with company requirementsEnsure the opening and closing of all food outlets are carried out in accordance with Company procedures.Ensure all food is labelled correctly Carry out cleaning duties as required by Unit ManagerThe Person Previous culinary experiencePrevious experience working in a busy kitchenDemonstratable knowledge of HACCPExcellent communication and organisational skillsThe ability to work successfully as part of a team or individuallyPrevious experience working in a contract catering environmentNVQ level 2&3 or City & Guilds 706/ 1&2 or aboveBasic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basisThe Mount Charles Group is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
