Behaviour Mentor – Urgent Start

Philosophy Education is working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Barnet to recruit a skilled and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is an urgent vacancy requiring someone ready to start immediately.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
* Provide tailored one-to-one and group support for pupils with challenging behaviour.
* Help pupils develop strategies to manage emotions, build resilience and re-engage with learning.
* Work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to implement effective behaviour management plans.
* Use restorative and therapeutic approaches to support pupil wellbeing and progress.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, or in a PRU/SEMH setting.
* Brings resilience, patience and strong behaviour management skills.
* Can build positive relationships and act as a role model for pupils.
* Is available for an immediate start.
