Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well established and growing planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Town Planner to join their London office.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and delivering planning applications and appeals of varying scale and complexity
* Preparing planning statements, appeals, site appraisals and policy representations
* Liaising with local planning authorities, consultees and key stakeholders
* Providing strategic planning advice to clients throughout the development process
* Mentoring and supporting junior planners
* Assisting with business development and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
* MRTPI status (or working towards)
* Proven experience within a planning consultancy or local authority
* Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive and commercially aware approach
