Location: North of England & Scotland – Regional Travel Required
Reporting to: Sales Manager UK
Salary: to £60k basic depending on experience, company car, bonus
Shape and grow Rapidrop’s presence across the North of England and Scotland.
Rapidrop is a UK-based manufacturer of fire sprinkler and suppression system components, supplying customers in over 75 countries worldwide.
Our products help protect some of the world’s most recognisable developments, including The Shard, Wembley Stadium, Heathrow Terminal 5, Reykjavik Opera House and Etihad Towers in Dubai.
As we continue our growth, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to strengthen our presence across the North of England and Scotland and support our commercial objectives.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager UK, this role will be responsible for driving sales activity across the region and supporting Rapidrop’s continued growth.
Key responsibilities include:
· Develop and deliver regional sales plans
· Identify and secure new business opportunities
· Manage and grow existing customer accounts
· Build strong relationships with customers, distributors and key stakeholders
· Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular performance updates
· Work closely with internal teams to ensure a joined-up approach to customer delivery
The role will include regular travel across the North of England and Scotland to support customer engagement and business development.
About You
We are looking for a commercially focused sales professional who enjoys managing a territory, building relationships and driving growth.
We’re looking for someone with:
· Experience in a sales or business development role
· Strong account management and relationship-building skills
· Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
· Experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM systems
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· A proactive and results-driven approach
Experience within manufacturing, construction or a technical environment would be advantageous.
