Group Financial Controller Salary: From 45,000 Hours: Full time Contract: Permanent Benefits Growth opportunities Competitive salary Collaborative team Free parkingAbout the Role Search are delighted to be recruiting for a Financial Controller on behalf of a well‑established, growing organisation. You'll lead a small, engaged finance team and take full ownership of financial controls across the business. From budgeting and forecasting to compliance and producing monthly board level reporting packs, you'll play a central role in shaping the financial direction of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for the payroll operation and deliver clear direction and support to the finance team Lead the day to day operations of the Finance function, ensuring smooth and accurate financial management Deliver annual budgets, year‑on‑year forecasts and monthly management accounts to support informed decision‑making Produce high‑quality board packs and confidently present financial insights at monthly leadership meetings Manage all compliance reporting, including submissions and requirements for external stakeholders Champion continuous improvement, enhancing finance systems, controls and processes to drive efficiency and accuracyWhat We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and becoming an integral part of a tight‑knit, friendly team. You will bring: Background & Experience Qualified or Part‑Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent) or qualified by strong experience Confident working in a fast‑paced SME environment Ability to lead a small team while being hands‑on across tasks Genuine passion for growth, success and continuous improvementInterested?
