VANRATH is delighted to have partnered with a leading concrete manufacturer to recruit a Field Sales Representative for a territory in NI (and possibly border counties) to join their talented team.
Salary/Benefits
A competitive remuneration package is offered to attract top talent, ranging from £30,000 - £35,000 plus commission. The role includes a range of benefits, such as a company car or allowance. It is primarily field-based, with administrative tasks performed at home or in the office.
The Ideal Person
* Previous field-based sales experience within a construction environment.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
* Driven, with a 'get up and go' attitude, business acumen, and a desire to succeed.
Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the planning and development of sales, marketing, and business strategies in Northern Ireland.
2. Identify and develop new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and generate new prospects.
3. Build and maintain effective customer relationships and manage the sales cycle to finalise sales.
4. Maintain a customer database and implement a simple Customer Relationship Management system.
5. Participate in product development, promotion, customer care, and quality improvement initiatives based on market feedback.
6. Engage in public relations and promotional activities, including exhibitions, to build brand awareness and highlight unique selling points.
7. Demonstrate the technical features of the company's products to potential clients.
8. Negotiate pricing and delivery details, coordinating with sales processing staff to ensure smooth order handling.
9. Provide management with market intelligence, including competitor analysis and market research.
10. Recommend business development strategies and ways to enhance product marketability.
11. Assist with credit control when necessary.
12. Perform other duties as reasonably required within the scope of the role.
