The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist, wishing to specialise in Medical services to join our University Hospital Wishaw, Physiotherapy Team. The team provides specialist assessment and treatment to both inpatient and outpatient services. The medical team cover the following areas; ED, Medical Receiving, Medical High Dependency, General Medicine wards, Respiratory & Cardiac outpatient Services.
This post requires an enthusiastic individual who is motivated to play a key role in the development of our services.
You will also get the opportunity to clinically supervise our Band 5 Physiotherapists and Support Workers, provide Clinical Education for our Physiotherapy Students on placement as well as joining the On call Physiotherapy Rota.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC Registration
2. Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
3. Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
5. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.
6. Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.
7. Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification
8. The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative
9. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Effective time management skills
11. Working knowledge of basic information technology
