Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is the biggest employer in Nottingham with over 19,000 staff.
We are seeking to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse to support pre-employment processes, health surveillance (including audiometry and spirometry), skin assessments, hand-arm vibration assessments, venepuncture, and health screening. Previous experience in Occupational Health within a hospital setting is advantageous; however, experience in health surveillance and/or fitness-for-work medicals in any sector will be considered. The candidate should be a competent IT user and able to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
Our services include infection screening and immunisation, contact tracing during infectious outbreaks, fitness-for-work assessments, sickness absence management advice, stress management advice, assessments for long-term disability benefits or ill-health retirement, health surveillance, health promotion, training, and education.
