Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in the delivery ofplex projects across a wide range of sectors, includingmercial, residential, industrial, education, healthcare and mixed‑use developments. You’ll work alongside a multi‑disciplinary engineering team, contributing technical expertise, leadership and high‑quality design output.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Producing, reviewing and leading electrical building services designs, including power distribution, lighting, life safety systems, containment, and sustainable electrical solutions
2. Providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring design quality across all project stages
3. Collaborating closely with mechanical, sustainability, BIM and project management teams
4. Engaging with clients, architects and external stakeholders to support project delivery and maintain strong professional relationships
5. Ensuring designs meet current regulations, industry standards and best practice guidance
6. Supporting the organisation’smitment to low‑carbon engineering, net‑zero strategies and innovative MEP solutions
What We’re Looking For
7. Strong experience in electrical building services engineering within a consultancy environment
8. Proven ability to lead projects or significant design packages independently
9. Excellent knowledge of UK electrical design standards, building regulations and sector guidance
10. Proficiency in Amtech/Trimble, AutoCAD, Revit and lighting design software
11. Confidentmunicator with excellent client‑facing and team‑working skills
12. Positive, proactive, solution‑focused mindset
13. Degree‑qualified or equivalent; IEng/CEng or working towards registration preferred
