Job Description Aureos are looking for Drone Pilots to join our team working from our Bathgate office and surveying projects across the UK.
Supporting the Survey Team, you will form an integral part of the flight team and will be responsible for on-site data acquisition using UAV platforms and ensuring data integrity. Prior to data capture, you will be responsible for mission planning, equipment preparation, and liaising with ATC if applicable.
You will play a significant role in the processing, management, and presentation of data. Data will typically include photography & videography, photogrammetry, LiDAR, thermal imagery, and GNSS survey control data.
You will assist with the management of aircraft, maintenance & software updates as/when required, manage flight logs, and update all associated documentation. Prior to mobilisation, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment and personnel are prepared, and that all briefs and survey tasks are fully understood.
HND/degree in Land Survey, or Geomatics, or equivalent.
Hold PfCO GVC certificate with experience flying multirotor and fixed-wing drones/model aircraft in a commercial environment
Experience with laser-scanning products and advanced data manipulation for BIM implementation is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
