Laundry Driver - Ballymoney An opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Driver in Ballymoney. This role involves the collection and delivery of linen across Northern Trust facilities, ensuring accurate record keeping, safe vehicle operation, and adherence to all driving and safety regulations. About the role:
1. £12.21 per hour
2. 5 hours a week
3. Saturday morning shifts starting 6am
4. Temporary role
What you'll be doing in this role:
5. Collection of used linen and delivery of clean linen to all facilities in the Northern HSC Trust as required
6. Completion of appropriate records/documentation in relation to deliveries/collections as required by the Trust.
7. Carry out daily routine maintenance of vehicles driven and minor running repairs ie fuel/oil/water checking and topping up, tyre pressure/condition, vehicle cleaning and report any defects or faults as they arise in line with Trust policy.
8. Operate tail lifts where provided after instruction on use.
What you need for this role:
9. Experience of multi drop deliveries.
10. Possess a full current unrestricted driving licence i.e. out of R plates, for use in the UK with Category C1 driving entitlement
11. Must hold the Driver CPC qualification card valid until at least 2027 OR if card expiry is before 2027, then evidence that 21 hours CPC training has been completed
12. Must hold a Driver Tachograph Card or have acquired one before date of appointment if successful.
