Job Opportunity: Full-Time Supply Teaching Assistant (SEMH Specialist Provision – Ashington/Blyth)
Are you a Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young people? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated TA's to join a specialist provision in the Ashington/Blyth area for a 20-week full-time supply post, working with secondary-aged students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Position Details:
* Role: Full-Time Supply Teaching Assistant (20-week post)
* Location: Specialist SEMH Provision, Secondary Aged Setting (Ashington/Blyth)
* Duration: 12 weeks
* Daily Rate: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience and suitability)
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the teacher in engaging and inclusive lessons designed to meet the needs of students with SEMH.
* Provide emotional and behavioural support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Maintain a nurturing and safe environment that promotes learning and development.
What We're Looking For:
* Teaching Assistants with an interest in SEMH education.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
* Experience in mainstream or specialist settings is an advantage but not required.
