Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom? We're working with a lovely primary school just outside Lancaster who are looking for a caring, committed Teaching Assistant to join their Year 6 team on a part-time basis.
🌟 What You'll Be Doing:
Some 1:1 support required for a capable Year 6 pupil (EHCP pending).
Assisting the wider class to keep learning on track and engaging.
Supporting low level behaviour with a calm, consistent approach.
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school staff.
📅 The Role:
Part-time: 9am-12pm, Monday to Friday.
Term-time only - perfect for work-life balance!
Long-term opportunity with potential to extend.
💡 We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience in Key Stage 2, especially with additional needs or behavioural support.
Is patient, adaptable, and a real team player.
Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Holds (or is happy to get) an enhanced DBS on the update service.
