Qualified Accountant - Northern Ireland/ Remote Cpl NI is delighted to work with a large public sector body to recruit a key member for the organisation's Corporate and Capital Accounting Service. This position initially is a temporary 3-month contract. Duties: *Assisting the Functional Lead within the Corporate and Capital Accounting Service to deliver service requirements. *Finance support to the capital budget and the annual accounts process. *Contribute to the management of accounts queries, and technical guidance. *Maintain clear audit trails in all actions taken, ensuring that lessons learned are appropriately actioned. *Develop and lead effective systems and procedures. Essential Criteria: *A) Fully qualified accountant with current membership. AND *Hold a Bachelors Degree or equivalent. OR Higher qualification and two years demonstrable experience in the successful management of two of the areas listed below* in a complex organisation. OR *B) Have five years demonstrable experience in the successful management of two of the areas listed below* in a complex organisation. *a. Finance policy, procedures, and processes. b.Financial planning and strategy. c.Capital budget setting, monitoring, and control. d.Provision of advice and support to budget holders. e.Maintaining and developing Fixed Asset Registers.
