About the pub
The Cherry Orchard is a popular community pub, recently undergoing investment to our 2‑door format. This pub is the heart of the community, well‑established and known for its warm atmosphere, consistent trade, and strong local following. It offers a welcoming environment for both regulars and visitors, with a reputation for friendly service, quality drinks, and a relaxed, sociable setting. The pub’s layout supports a steady flow of trade throughout the week, with clearly defined spaces for dining, drinking, and community gatherings.
The pub attracts a diverse dynamic of drinkers, diners and families who come to take advantage of the indoor play area. There is also a strong Sunday food offer, and scope to grow sales further with regular promotion of sports coverage, music and comedy nights. The pub is currently averaging £29,000 in weekly sales, with a 45 dry to 55 wet sales mix. We are looking for a General Manager who can continue to engage the local community and continue to grow both the wet and dry sides of the business.
Management accommodation is available in the form of a separate, well proportioned three‑bedroom terraced house situated directly across from the pub. The property includes convenient off‑street parking and a charming rear garden.
