We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Development Manager, Commercial Insurance.

In this role you’ll:
* Proactively identify and develop new insurance opportunities for HSBC and refer customers to our third party providers
* Assist in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
* Assist in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to front line colleagues
* Work closely with the product team to help ensure we are optimising the proposition and reacting appropriately to challenges and opportunities with the third parties
* Proactively support the implementation of new propositions and enhancements to any existing propositions
* Protect the bank's reputation through all your interactions with internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* A willingness to travel frequently across the UK, usually at least three days a week and occasionally all week, including to areas outside the region
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Influencing skills, the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share and present information in a clear, concise and accurate way
* Data analysis skills with the ability to review and interpret complex data
* An ability to spot opportunities and influence the wider CMB team to develop and nurture these opportunities
* Some knowledge of commercial general insurance, UK insurance market and Trade Credit would be advantageous
* Commercial Banking knowledge and experience
