An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and people-focused Staffing Coordinator to join the Events team at Rocket Food. This role is central to the successful delivery of events, supporting the recruitment, scheduling and development of a high‑performing front‑of‑house workforce. Working closely with the Events, Operations and People & Culture teams, you will help ensure staffing operations are efficient, accurate and compliant across a busy and varied events calendar. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail and a genuine interest in people development. Responsibilities
* Support recruitment planning and delivery in line with the annual events cycle
* Coordinate regular onboarding and training sessions with People & Culture
* Identify staff strengths and support balanced deployment across events
* Act as a first point of contact for front‑of‑house staff, providing guidance and support
Event Staffing Operations
* Manage event staffing bookings using the scheduling system
* Produce accurate staffing schedules, timesheets and security lists
* Ensure staff sign‑in procedures and presentation standards are maintained
* Support event managers with on‑site staff performance monitoring
Payroll, Reporting & Administration
* Ensure timesheets are returned, checked and processed accurately and on time
* Support payroll processing and monitor staffing‑related expenses
* Maintain staffing systems in line with forecasts and operational requirements
* Collate event feedback to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
* Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Clear and confident communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling payroll and data
* A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and calm manner under pressure
* A collaborative working style and genuine interest in people development
