As an
HR Consultant
, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering best-in-class HR operations, processes, and culture across the business. This is a role working for an outstanding business on the outskirts of Edinburgh and offers an excellent base, bonus potential and Benefits.
Working closely with the Senior HR Manager, line managers, and the wider HR team, you'll get involved in every aspect of the employee lifecycle – from talent attraction, onboarding and engagement, to employee relations, performance management, and shaping our reward and wellbeing offering. This is a role that will stretch your skills, challenge your thinking, and give you the chance to influence real change.
What you'll be doing:
* Acting as a trusted advisor and coach to line managers, providing guidance across all generalist HR queries.
* Taking ownership of employee relations cases, from start to finish, with a balanced, pragmatic approach.
* Supporting HR projects that deliver against our People agenda and business goals.
* Contributing to the development of people policies, processes, and analytics to drive decisions and improvements.
* Playing an active role in recruitment, selection, onboarding, and reward cycles.
* Driving engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives across the business.
What we're looking for:
* Proven HR experience in a busy, commercial environment – you'll be used to multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills – confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience managing ER cases and supporting line managers through people challenges.
* A team player with high attention to detail and great organisational skills.
