Job Description
This role focuses on transforming and optimising the Google Workspace tenant. You will administer the Google Workspace environment, support the integration of our GCP tenant, and drive modernisation initiatives such as backups, DLP, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing all aspects of the Google Admin Console, core services, user and group management, organizational units (OUs), and security policies.
* Implementing and monitoring security settings, investigating alerts, and collaborating with security teams on tools like Defender for Cloud Apps.
* Administering and governing Gemini for Google Workspace and other emerging AI services.
* Acting as an escalation point for complex Google Workspace issues and contributing to documentation and training materials.
* Managing the lifecycle of Google sub‑services, new products, and third‑party marketplace add‑ons from evaluation to decommissioning.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Google Workspace Administrator or Engineer in a large‑scale environment.
* Deep expertise in the Google Admin Console, core applications, security settings, and reporting.
* Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Google Cloud Identity.
* Experience administering Gemini for Google Workspace or similar AI‑driven productivity tools.
* Familiarity with managing third‑party application integrations and add‑ons within Google Workspace.
* Hands‑on experience with cloud solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.
* Familiarity with SIEM and other logging tools.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Workspace Administrator) would be advantageous.

* Strong IT knowledge and experience integrating with Microsoft environments.
* Effective communicator, able to develop clear documentation.
* Collaborative with stakeholders across the organisation.
* A self‑starter comfortable working independently or in a team.
* Understanding of audit requirements and ability to support security audits.
* Commitment to high‑availability and secure systems.
