The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Lead Developer to take ownership of our existing systems and build on them to deliver improved, scalable solutions. This is a hands-on role, focused on using WeWeb, Xano, and Webflow to enhance and extend our current platforms, while also laying the groundwork for a growing development team. You will combine technical leadership with a structured approach to quality assurance and risk management, ensuring that our technology continues to support growth and deliver value.

The Need-To-Knows

Location: Bolton (Hybrid). Open to remote working

Hours: 37.5 (Mon - Fri) - open to full time or part-time.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, with annual salary review and profit share bonus

What you'll be doing

* Build on and improve our existing systems using WeWeb, Xano, and Webflow

* Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and user-friendly products

* Work closely with consultancy and leadership teams to align technology with business goals

* Establish and maintain formal processes for quality assurance, testing, and risk management

* Identify opportunities for innovation and implement solutions that improve performance and user experience

* Take responsibility for deployments, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement

* Play a leading role in developing and managing a growing technical team

What you're good at

* Strong expertise with WeWeb, Xano, and Webflow, with proven experience in system integrations and APIs

* Background in SaaS product development, including architecture, databases, scalability, and security

* Ability to take existing systems and build on them to deliver improved functionality and stability

* Experience setting up structured QA and risk management processes

* Strong problem-solving ability and clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues

* Experience in fast-paced or startup environments, ideally with responsibility for leading projects or teams
