Lead Cleaner / Cleaning Supervisor - Preston + Surrounding Areas | Competitive Pay + Overtime (earn up to £38k) + Company Van
Russell Taylor group are currently seeking a Lead Cleaner / Cleaning Supervisor for work in the Lancashire (and surrounding) area, on behalf of a leading facilities management contractor. If you're hands-on, reliable, and confident leading teams in fast-paced environments, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership on-site and make a real impact.
About the Role:
As a Lead Cleaner / Cleaning Supervisor, you'll respond to urgent and planned jobs, lead on-site teams, and ensure all cleaning work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Flexibility is key, with regular out-of-hours and weekend cover (all paid at enhanced / bonus rates)
Key Responsibilities:
Rapid response to reactive and emergency cleaning jobs, including the occasional evening and weekends
Lead and support technicians and agency staff on-site
Deliver cleaning, waste, and site services in line with safety and quality standards
Log all job details and updates accurately using company tablets
Conduct vehicle safety checks and ensure vans are clean and stocked
Uphold Health & Safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times
What We're Looking For:
Ideally have experience in both reactive and planned cleaning works
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and strong time management
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Flexible approach to shifts and urgent job assignments
