Are you a natural operator who thrives in the buzz of live events? Love juggling people, plans, and pours—all at the same time? We're on the lookout for a hands-on Bar & Jr Operations Manager to join our fast-paced, versatile London events venue.
The Role
This is a front-line, sleeves-rolled-up operational role where no two days (or events) are the same. You'll be overseeing multiple events running simultaneously, from conferences and corporate takeovers to weddings and bespoke private hires.
You'll be right at the heart of the action—leading teams, supporting clients, and ensuring every event is delivered flawlessly from first quote to final close-down.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing bar and event operations across multiple live events
Leading, motivating, and rota-planning a large casual and permanent team
Being client-facing on event days—handling requests, problem-solving, and delivering standout service
Preparing quotes and supporting the planning and execution of each event
Managing staffing levels, stock control, spreadsheets, and POS systems
Ensuring all licensing, compliance, and service standards are met at all times
What We're Looking For
Proven F&B experience within events (essential)
A background as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or strong senior manager
A Personal Licence holder (non-negotiable)
Calm under pressure, highly organised, and confident managing multiple moving parts
A natural people-leader who enjoys being hands-on and visible on the floor
Working Pattern
5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends
Paid overtime or TOIL provided
