Our client is a leading commercial vehicle builders, looking to add an additional member to there team as an Auto-electrician.
This is a temporary role leading into a permanent position after 12 weeks that will be site based. Sheffield based candidates would be ideal.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics on large commercial vehicles. Having a background as an auto-electrician is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of re-wiring electrical systems in vehicles and be adept at using various mechanic tools. If you hold a UK Drivers license or even a HGV license this is a plus!

In return for your commitment, you can expect:
£13.50p/h - £16p/h DOE
7:30AM - 4PM
Monday-Friday
Paid breaks
Overtime is available in the week and at weekends but not a must
20 Days Holiday, plus Bank Holidays
Training and professional development
As an Auto-electrician, you will….
Run electrical diagnostics on various HGV vehicle
Proficiently use various hand tools and power tools in a safe manner
Competently carry out installations of various electrical components to customers vehicles
Re-wire electrical systems in large vehicles
Keeping detailed records of all work carried out on customers vehicles
Work closely with a production team to meet deadlines and customer requirements
To be successful in this role for Auto-electrician you MUST have:
Electrical wiring/diagnostic experience with vehicles
Competent understanding of HGV electrical systems
The ability to use hand tools and power tools relating to electrical mechanics
A strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
