In this Year 5 Teaching Assistant role, you’ll play a key part in supporting literacy, numeracy, and topic work, while also helping pupils develop independence and confidence in the lead-up to Year 6.

Your Role Will Include:
• Supporting the Year 5 teacher with the delivery of engaging, curriculum-based lessons
• Working with small groups and individuals to reinforce understanding
• Helping pupils prepare for the academic demands of Year 6
• Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and displays
• Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil participation
• Supporting literacy, numeracy, and topic learning in a creative and engaging way
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Graduate with a 2:1 or higher (preferred but not essential)
• Passionate about primary education, particularly KS2
• Confident, reliable and eager to support pupils’ academic progress
• Experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Looking to pursue a future in teaching, tutoring, or education support
