We are looking for a well-organised and reliable Production & Stock Control Administrator to support our busy food production environment. This role is key to keeping our production and stock systems accurate and running smoothly, helping ensure our bakers have what they need to produce great food every day.
Working closely with Production, Technical, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams, you will play an important part in maintaining systems & records, supporting traceability, and upholding the high standards we expect across the business.

Location: Hatters Lane, Chipping Sodbury, BS37 6AA
Hours: Ideally full-time, although can be flexible around working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Input daily production schedules as directed by the Production Manager and teams.
2. Utilise data on historic & upcoming orders to assist our bakery teams with production planning, helping to suggest optimal production batch sizes and stock levels.
3. Pro-actively maintain ingredient batch accuracy on a daily basis by checking stock availability as batches run low.
4. Immediately investigate and rectify all batch stock discrepancies so that the bakery team have the correct stock available.
5. Provide day-to-day administrative support to Production and Stock Control teams, including assisting with system inputs where required.
6. Support stock counts, reconciliations, and investigations into any discrepancies
7. Process production paperwork, purchase orders, and goods received documentation
8. Assist in monitoring stock levels to reduce waste and support efficient production. Oversee the recording of waste
9. Prepare clear and accurate reports on production output, yields, and stock levels. Utilise this data to assist in identifying efficiencies within production.
10. Ensure all records meet food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (e.g. HACCP, BRC, SALSA)
11. Work closely with colleagues across departments to support smooth daily operations
12. Maintain well-organised and up-to-date records of processes surrounding production & stock control, including updating standard operating procedures around system setup and procedures.

18. Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on food production environment
19. Competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
20. Experience with stock control or ERP systems is helpful but not essential
Experience & Qualifications:
21. Previous administrative experience, ideally within food production, manufacturing, or FMCG
22. An understanding of traceability principles is an advantage
23. GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English (essential)
