Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Lube Technician to join our team at the Peterhead Depot. The Lube Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper maintenance and lubrication of our buses, contributing to their overall performance, reliability, and safety. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine lubrication and maintenance tasks on buses according to established procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
* Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, damage, or potential issues that may affect performance or safety.
* Complete oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts usage, services performed, and vehicle condition.
* Collaborate with other team members and departments to address maintenance issues and ensure fleet readiness.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Lube Technician or similar role is required.
* Strong knowledge of lubrication techniques, tools, and equipment.
* Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and best practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
* Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
