Job Description
1. Assisting the Workshop Service Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of this busy workshop.
2. Ensure 100% coverage for the servicing and maintenance of our modern hire fleet.
3. Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of each machine is carried out at depot or on site as required.
4. Produce monthly plant inspection reports and service schedule and organise workload of engineers to ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies.
5. Maintain the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard
6. Offer guidance and support in response to customer breakdown calls.
7. Locate spares required, ensuring that CE rating, where applicable is not compromised.
8. Follow the guidelines set out in the Quality and Health and Safety policy.
9. Maintain basic stock control system for the workshop spares.
10. Identify training and development needs of workshop personnel.
11. Support depot engineers with technical help and advice.
About you: -
Previous experience in Powered Access industry or other construction plant hire.
12. Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a maintenance/engineering discipline.
13. The ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
14. Experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems is desired.
