About the role:
The Depot Operations Support role is key to keeping depot operations running smoothly while ensuring customer and supplier needs are met. You'll handle enquiries, resolve queries, and support both routine and adhoc administrative tasks.
You will help monitor compliance across Health & Safety, HR, Transport, and other operational standards, generate reports to spot potential issues, and work with the team to implement effective solutions. This role also promotes a customer-first culture and supports process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall depot performance.
Location: Summit Avenue, Cove and Southwood, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
Hours: 07:00am - 15:30pm
Salary: £26,528.31 per annum
What you'll be doing:
* Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with colleagues to fully understand customer and supplier requirements and expectations, ensuring smooth coordination across all depot operations.
* Customer Enquiries: Handle and respond to customer enquiries efficiently, investigate issues, and resolve queries to maintain excellent service standards.
* Administrative Support: Carry out general administration duties and support any ad hoc administrative tasks as required to keep the depot running effectively.
* Problem Solving & Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to identify areas of non compliance, work proactively with the team to address issues, and implement practical solutions before they escalate.
* Champion a Customer-First Culture: Contribute to building a depot environment where the customer is at the centre of everything we do, helping the team deliver outstanding service.
* Compliance Monitoring: Take the lead in ensuring compliance across Health & Safety, HR, Transport, ISO, audits, and environmental standards.
* Process Improvement & Innovation: Work with Depot Management to recommend and implement new processes that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and safety, helping the business achieve its targets.
