IT Business Analyst – Bristol (Hybrid, Three Days Onsite)

We are looking for a skilled IT Business Analyst to join a small and collaborative technology team within a growing UK organisation. This position will suit someone who enjoys working in a practical and delivery focused environment where their input has a direct impact on the business.
You will act as the link between the business and the IT function, translating ideas and change requests into well structured technical solutions. This is not a large corporate environment with layers of process. It is a hands on role where you will see the results of your work and play an active part in delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Work with users, stakeholders and IT colleagues to capture and define business requirements
Translate non technical needs into clear and actionable technical specifications
Manage multiple small to medium workstreams through the full delivery lifecycle
Support workshops, produce documentation and report on project progress
Deliver projects using Agile or PRINCE2 style methods
Ensure all solutions are delivered on schedule, within scope and aligned to business goals Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in a small or medium sized organisation
Strong technical understanding of multi user systems including cloud based and on premises platforms
Comfortable working in a fast paced and adaptable setting with real accountability
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence or Visio
Familiar with Agile, Scrum or PRINCE2 frameworks
Degree or equivalent experience and a recognised Business Analysis qualification such as BCS or IIBA What You Will Receive
