Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver excellent financial planning, advice, and service to clients via a desk‑based service model. You will service existing clients with investable assets of up to £250,000. This department is leading in tech adoption to enhance financial planner and client experiences.

This is a full‑time permanent hybrid role (35 hours per week): 3 days per week from office, 2 days UK home‑based.


Job Responsibilities

* Develop new business by proactively contacting legacy clients to convert them to our ongoing service proposition.
* Actively engage with and review existing clients to deliver a comprehensive financial planning solution across the full suite of financial planning services.
* Achieve revenue targets set by the business and regional manager.
* Drive cross‑selling and refer business into other parts of the group.
* Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, identifying and fulfilling new advice needs where appropriate.
* Generate new client enquiries and deliver advice income from these.
* Undertake sales and marketing activity in line with local, regional and national plans.
* Provide expert independent advice to designated clients in compliance with relevant regulations and Titan policies and values.
* Maintain “Fit and Proper” status through continuous professional development and suitable development opportunities, including SPS maintenance.
* Evidence and maintain knowledge of company policies, processes and guidance.
* Ensure that client advice and reports are compliant with company processes and regulatory requirements.
* Use standard template documentation approved by the company.
* Maintain technical knowledge and general industry knowledge at all times.
* Deliver a positive client service experience ensuring appropriate client outcomes, journey and communication.
* Respond to client queries within the service standards and keep clients appropriately appraised.
* Execute processes in compliance with all regulations, as evidenced by file checks, observations and client feedback.
* Establish relationships with other business groups in Titan to achieve reciprocal business.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with external professional connections to create additional business opportunities.
* Use objectives to focus on key business areas.
* Identify training needs to ensure a consistent level of service.
* Keep reading and product knowledge up‑to‑date to maintain and develop quality of reports and research.
* Perform ad hoc tasks as required, bearing in mind TCF and business needs.
* Highlight procedures & processes not adhering to TCF/RCR principles and suggest improvements to the department.
* Carry out any other duties as reasonably required.
* Adhere to consumer duty.


Role Requirements

* Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and databases.
* Cash flow modelling – preferable but not essential.
* Excellent standard of written and verbal communication.
* Technical competence across all areas of financial planning.
* Good decision‑making skills.
* Analytical mind with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to coach and provide feedback.
* Good technical knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations.
* Essential – Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
