Brief Description
A Project Information Controller will work under the supervision of a Senior Project Information Controller / Regional Information Manager and may work in other departments depending on the additional project requirements. They will continue to develop knowledge of the tools, procedures, documents, software and processes Imtech use for the digital information delivery of a project.
An interest in filing structure, information flow, data delivery and a keen eye for detail is essential.
It is expected that the following roles and responsibilities can be carried out independently by the candidate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Controlling company and project documentation in line with Imtech procedures.
2. Following the information control procedures applicable to the project.
3. Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards prior to issue.
4. Sorting, storing, and retrieving electronic and digital documents on behalf of staff, clients, and subcontractors.
5. Producing document progress reports for senior managers.
6. Conducting regular reviews and document audits.
7. Using digital tools to organise and distribute documents within the company.
8. Using and understanding a Common Data Environment.
9. Sharing and managing the movement of information through internal and external Common Data Environments such as Asite, Viewpoint, Aconex etc.
10. Helping in the planning stages of a specific project.
11. Ensuring documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion.

Previous Experience:
18. This role is intended for a candidate with previous experience (3+ years) in a document control role, or as progression from a Junior PIC role. A keen interest should be demonstrated with a reasonable understanding of the expectations of the role. A good grasp of computer skills is essential.
