Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our [EBD] solo home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication skills. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting the young person in their daily lives, ensuring their well-being and promoting independence. You will be responsible for implementing care plans and providing support tailored to the specific needs of each child.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you'll support the Manager in leading and managing the home. You'll supervise and guide support workers, ensuring consistent, high quality care and a nurturing environment.
You'll build meaningful, trusting relationships with our young person, offering emotional and practical support through their challenges. Your role is to empower them to grow in confidence, develop independence, and feel a strong sense of belonging.

Skills
Minimum 2 years' experience in a children's residential setting
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent – essential)
Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management,
Ability to lead shifts and support junior staff effectively
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,420.00-£35,469.32 per year
