Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for Yard Operative (Forklift Operative) for our client based in Uxbridge, a leading gas supplier. PAYE £13.60 per hour holiday pay / Overtime £20.40 per hour Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:30 (flexibility for overtime) 42.5 hour week 28 days holiday per year, increasing with length of service All-round Duties: Supporting the day to day running of the yard Handling and moving gas cylinders (this role will involve heavy lifting) Assisting with loading and unloading for both customers and drivers Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Providing a good level of customer service on site Supporting with basic admin tasks when needed (full training provided) Requirements: Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (refreshed within the last 3 years) Valid Category B Driving Licence DBS check required prior to start (6 week grace period) Basic IT skills Minimum of 6 months Yard experience Physically fit, as this role is fairly manual (includes being out in all elements) Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards 5 Years address history 3 years employment history Do you have the drive and experience?
