James Strang Ltd is a multi-discipline Civil Engineering and Fencing Company based in Denny, Falkirk, with contracts throughout Scotland.
Due to continuous expansion, we are seeking to recruit a full time Estimating Assistant to join our well-established team.
The successful candidates time will be split between our Estimating Departments for both Civil Engineering & Fencing plus various other duties.
Estimating duties:
* Dealing with high volumes of email and telephone enquiries
* Registering fencing and civil engineering tenders on tender database
* Sending enquiries to suppliers for material quotes
* Liaising with clients for tender extensions or for further information, drawings etc
* Visiting site to carry out surveys, measures etc
* Managing electronic tender filing system and creating job folders
* Collating weekly tender reports for department heads
* Managing Approved Suppliers Lists
* Compiling Pre Qualifcation Questionnaires

Salary dependent on experience
