ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager, with strong web production and client management experience, to join the team at Bernadette and one of our biggest clients in the automotive industry. The role is pivotal to the successful evolution of the client’s UK website, steering digital operations within the UK marketing team and overseeing production at Bernadette
The role is incredibly varied and adaptable to the changing needs of both businesses. Broadly however, the role falls into 4 key categories:
1. Product Ownership: the role requires you to take pride in ensuring the client’s website is maintained to a high standard, plays a key role in the full customer experience and supports the wider business objectives.
2. Project Management: the role is highly operational, so you must have good project management skills, understand traditional delivery processes and have the ability to manage projects of all shapes and sizes.
3. Client & Agency Management: the role is hybrid, meaning you sit between client and agency, serving the needs and interests of both equally, to ensure a strong and long lasting partnership.
4. Entrepreneurship: the role will also require some degree of business acumen. You must have the ability to understand and embrace a business vision, support in the planning and execution of a marketing strategy and most importantly lead web production to meet objectives.
The Senior Digital Project Manager will need to be a self motivated, organised and methodical individual who has a passion for digital delivery and is a driver of positive results. Strategically versed and well experienced in stakeholder coordination, website administration, optimisation, analytics systems and website content production.
Working alongside the Associate Project Director and Digital Marketing Manager, the Senior Digital Producer will:
● Understand business, marketing and brand objectives to ensure website deliverables are aligned and play a role in the successful achievement of these objectives.
● Oversee and support the yearly development of a website strategy for the client’s website .
● Take ownership of the yearly programme of work on the client’s website.
● Act as Product Owner for all owned digital platforms including the client’s website.
● Coordinate key stakeholders to identify, plan and execute both content and functional web
enhancements.
● Formulate briefs to the appropriate partner agency / supplier and own overall project plans to ensure a smooth and well governed project delivery.
● Ensure successful delivery of all projects, campaigns and tasks related to the client's website
and the role, to achieve success, on time, within budget.
● Apply traditional project management principles to ensure impeccable operations within the
Digital Marketing Team and adequate support for the wider business.
● Attend and facilitate regular internal and external status meetings.
● Liaise with the client’s head offices where necessary, in Europe and Asia.
● Be a great communicator, able to translate complex and technical digital jargon into
understandable terminology and concepts.
● Constantly liaise with the business, re-aligning on priorities and §key deliverables to adapt to
an ever moving and challenging market.
● Brief, support and understand website performance to provide suitable recommendations
● Help substantiate business cases by providing data-led projections of expected business results for new projects that require client investment.
● Work closely with the data, strategy, creative and development teams to regularly report on
the progress of website performance, campaigns and project delivery.
● Support and mentor other more junior members within client and agency teams.
KEY SKILLS
● Track record of successful digital programme & project delivery on time and on budget
● Ability to communicate with and coordinate multiple stakeholders in multiple countries
● Organised, with the ability to prioritise and plan a varied and full workload
● A clear communicator at all levels of an organisation, strong presentation skills
● Knowledge/understanding of project management and digital marketing disciplines
● Working knowledge of different CMSs and full project life cycle, including acceptance testing
(Adobe Experience Manager advantageous)
● Full understanding of digital marketing channels including PPC, organic search, social, media,
CRM, digital display etc
● Demonstrable experience in a similar role within an agency or in house
● Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, well versed in the use of MS Project
● Working knowledge of website Analytics (Google / Adobe) beneficial
