Laboratory Scientist
To complete the required product testing in a safe and compliant way to ensure the analysis generates
In this role you will:
1. Sample, test, report and validate final products, intermediates, raw materials and in-process samples to defined procedures
2. Consistently operate to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratories Practices (GLP) standards to ensure compliant product testing
3. Maintain and calibrate a wide range of analytical equipment to ensure continual production of accurate and precise results
4. Utilise theoretical and practical knowledge to aid interpretation of results and troubleshooting
5. Demonstrate proficiency in routine laboratory information systems to interpret and report results
6. Work in a compliant manner to ensure the safety of yourself, others and the protection of the environment
7. Identify, participate and implement Continuous Improvements opportunities
8. Proficient in all aspects of laboratory investigations and lab note completion
9. Complete all actions arising from internal/external audit commitments
10. Manage 5S and lab chemicals/consumable levels to ensure the area is kept to the required standard

17. Ability to escalate issues to Team Leader as appropriate
18. Communication and Influencing Skills
19. Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) including GQMPs and GQPs
20. Knowledge of data handling laboratory systems
21. Good knowledge of relevant analytical techniques
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
22. HND Level or equivalent in appropriate discipline
23. Degree in appropriate scientific discipline
