Food Service Assistant (6-month Fixed Term) £12.60 per hour 16 hours per week Glyn Anwen, Gainsborough Road, Newport, NP19 7NW What we need from you: Communication skills – as you’ll be a member of the kitchen team, you’ll be working with many people, from the Chef and assistant chef to the service managers and our tenants. So, you’ll have to be approachable and friendly and enjoy a good chat! Working knowledge of health and safety procedures – getting the job done safely is key. You’ll need to have a Basic Food Hygiene certificate and knowledge of basic dietary and nutritional requirements. If you have a first Aid certificate, let us know! If not, don’t worry as we’ll provide training and support you through it. An Enhanced DBS check will need to be carried out for this role. Experience in a similar, busy, catering setting.
