The Opportunity
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate Civil Engineer to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This 12-month placement will provide exposure to real-world engineering projects, operational support, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Undertake specific projects as allocated by the Civil Engineer, Engineering Manager, or Plant Director.
2. Make improvement recommendations where appropriate.
3. Assist other departments as needed.
4. Provide administrative and operational support to the Civil Engineering department.
5. Complete tasks accurately and on time.
6. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Operate safely and efficiently, following risk assessments and method statements.
8. Support project and maintenance work.
9. Maintain and create reports, technical specifications, statistics, and other documentation.
Candidate Requirements
10. Successfully completed the first two years of an appropriate engineering degree.
11. Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
12. Well-organised, efficient, and a strong communicator.
13. High attention to detail and accuracy.
