Are you passionate about supporting children in their early education? We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream and SEND schools throughout North Tyneside.

The Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and help pupils reach their full potential. You may work in a variety of school environments, including mainstream classrooms and specialist SEND provisions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
* Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils
* Assisting children with additional needs, including SEND
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Supporting classroom management and behaviour strategies
* Preparing and organising classroom resources
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with primary-aged children (school-based or similar)
* An understanding of SEND and a willingness to support pupils with additional needs
* A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
* A DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
