Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll lead, shape and drive the activation of inclusion initiatives for our colleagues across Screwfix. Your key objective will be to support the creation of an inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and have equal opportunities for growth and success. You'll play a crucial role in influencing the business to embrace inclusion, driving curiosity and ownership as well as leading the activation of our inclusion plans through building strong relationships across the business and effectively project managing initiatives. Develop, socialise and deliver the SFX Inclusion and Diversity plan in association with the HR team. Take an insight led approach and work with the People Insight team to surface key data and insight to inform plans, monitor progress and measure our success. Take high level direction/broad briefs and undertake the required research and exploration to build a compelling business case and translate into pragmatic, deliverable activity. Using agreed platform(s), set up and project manage Inclusion activity/projects. Create plans and work with key stakeholders to drive representation for underrepresented groups, ensuring No Barriers to opportunities. Enable the Screwfix I&D action plan to improve allyship across the organisation and close engagement sentiment gaps. Continuously build personal knowledge on I&D and keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in diversity and inclusion. Deliver fresh insight to the I&D COE from internal and external sources to shape our activity and influence thinking at all levels of the business. Develop relationships with external organisations/partners to seek out best practice and innovative ways to activate our plans and achieve our strategic aims. Work with teams across the HR function to ensure inclusion lens on all People plans. For example, support the team in enhancing our people policies, templates and toolkits placing a lens of inclusion over every process, workflow, procedure and initiative. Project Management - Track record of developing and implementing I&D or other people initiatives which have contributed to achieving business objectives. Your planning, organisational and project management skills are a strength, you enjoy a fast paced, ever-changing business, managing multiple demands. You plan ahead, anticipate problems and develop contingency plans to ensure you can meet deadlines. Detail focused - Strong attention to detail. Comfortable working with data and turning insight into action. Stakeholder Management. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging diverse stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Curious - Sound understanding of I&D best practices and knowledgeable of current trends and issues impacting I&D within organisations. Demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion and a passion for driving positive change and continual progression of the I&D agenda.
