Join Boots as a Tenders Specialist in our Healthcare team. You will support the Business Development and Bid Managers in achieving key business priorities aligned with our strategic goals.
About the Role
In this dynamic position, you will:
* Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful tender submissions.
* Set and manage the timetable for all tenders, chairing 'Go/No Go' meetings and bid kick-offs to ensure timely sign-off and final editing.
* Identify, create, and enhance reusable content from previous tender submissions, maintaining a comprehensive library of both clinical and non-clinical content.
* Tailor tender content received from various contributors to ensure compliance with external customer requirements.
* Lead and manage the qualitative responses of tenders, preparing legal and quality draft responses for regular review by the Business Development Manager (BDM).
* Manage tendering portals to flag new and relevant opportunities, summarising them for informed 'Go/No Go' decisions.
* Update the Business Development Workload Planner to reflect ongoing requirements from current Trust Partners.
* Lead post-tender processes following successful awards, supporting contract finalisation and transition into delivery, collaborating closely with Hospital Operations and Field Teams.
* Seek feedback on tender outcomes, capturing lessons learned to apply to future submissions.
* Support the bid process through procurement regulations, ensuring all external deadlines are met through effective management of internal timelines.
What You'll Need to Have
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* An excellent command of the English language, with strong copywriting, written, and visual presentation skills.
* Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
* A talent for building strong relationships within the team, across the business, and externally.
* Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
