Overview
Are you an experienced Resistant Materials teacher looking to take the next step in your academic career? We have a long-term opportunity for an immediate start at secondary schools in the Leeds area. The role will involve teaching Resistant Materials across Key Stages 3 and 4, as well as inspiring the next generation and helping them reach their full potential.
To be successful in your role as a Resistant Materials teacher you must be able to display a good understanding of the curriculum and create a safe and positive learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering practical-based lessons, as well as monitoring the progress and development of the students.
As a Resistant Materials teacher you will need to prepare high quality lessons that will keep the students engaged, the role will also involve collaborating with other members of the department by sharing ideas on how to further develop the curriculum.
Responsibilities
* Deliver practical-based lessons and monitor the progress and development of students.
* Prepare high quality lessons to engage students and create a safe and positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with other members of the department to develop and improve the curriculum.
Requirements
* Must have valid right to work in the UK.
* Hold a degree related to design and technology, along with qualified teacher status (QTS).
* An enhanced DBS on the update service.
* Be able to adapt quickly to a new school environment.
